Study On College Students’ Maritime Consciousness Training From The Perspective Of Marine Power Construction

February,2008, State Council of China approved and issued "national ocean development plan", proposing to enhance the people’s awareness of ocean, and make the "national marine consciousness" as one of the overall goal of the development of China’s marine industry until 2020. The communist party’s 18th national congress officially put forward the strategic target of the construction of marine power. The college students as a force for the future development of society, are the important strength to promote the construction of maritime power. The establishment of college students’ consciousness of ocean, directly related to the construction of maritime power in our country. Therefore, strengthening the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean means a lot to defend the blue land, develop the blue ocean business and build a great naval power.In this paper, the study of the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean regards ocean view of Marxism and marine thoughts of the main leaders of the Communist Party of China as the guide and looks cultivation of college students’ awareness as main line, drawing on experience of the theory and practice of the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean at home and abroad, on the basis of existing research results, studied systematically on strengthen the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean and improve the their consciousness.This paper analyzes the status and the main content, the results achieved, the existing problems and the causes of the problems, the basic ways of the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean, including five chapters. The first chapter is introduction. Describing the background and purpose of the topic, the theoretical and practical significance of research, combing the research status of the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean in home and abroad, summarizing the basic framework and methods of this study. The second chapter introduces the related theory of the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean. The third chapter is the status and basic contents of the cultivation of college students’ awareness of ocean. The fourth chapter acknowledges the effects of the cultivation of college students’awareness of ocean, reveals the existing problems in cultivating marine consciousness of college students in China and finding the causes of the problems. The fifth chapter, the basic training ways of college students’ marine consciousness. Including leams the experiences from foreign countries, governments, colleges, and the public media should make contribution to cultivation college students’ awareness of ocean.
