China is a power with both land and sea, which has broad waters, long coastline and navigation history. But in the process of modern-civilization, China didn’t have enough sea power. For the revitalization, The Chinese people are gradually developing their consciousness of ocean. Entering the new century, countries all over the world pay more and more attention to sea and the development. With the level and scope of development and utilization are constantly improve, Marine become human "the 2nd space" to seek survival and development. With the trend of The SEA Times, China also established the development strategy of "sea power". Ocean consciousness is the representation of the Citizen quality and the concrete embodiment of national comprehensive strength. In order to adapt to the pace of China towards the sea, to cultivate citizens’ ocean consciousness is urgent. Among citizens, teenagers are the future of our motherland, especially need to be carefully nurtured. In order to develop courses, service education, geography class, especially in middle school geography class, should be inspired to develop the forefront of ocean consciousness. So on the main content of the thesis study is around the middle school students’ ocean consciousness.This topic mainly adopts four methods such as literature research, questionnaire survey method, experience method and the comparative study. The research mainly based on the ocean consciousness present situation and the status quo of the junior high school geography classroom. Through on-the-spot investigation, the students acquire knowledge are lack of autonomy, and the sense of service is not strong. According to these characteristics, the author has further discussed the result of lacking is a social and cultural factors that affect the rule of law, school education and the shortage of the subjective initiative. Against such a situation, the author has an analysis to strengthen the necessity and feasibility of junior high school students’ocean consciousness. To strengthen the ways of the junior middle school students from four aspects, the society providing materials, curriculum reform providing directions, junior middle school students psychological as a foundation, and teachers’ pursuit of their own as a guarantee. It is important to note that special emphasis on the feasibility to practice the geography new curriculum reform, and promote the junior middle school geography teachers’ personal is a growth point.To tie in with the teaching of the junior middle school students, to strengthen the ocean consciousness in junior high school students, the paper mainly includes three teaching strategies as optimization, based on the geography textbook teaching.In this paper, the innovations based on geography textbook, and penetration of Marine geography knowledge is to cultivate the awareness of important breakthrough.Based on geography teaching material compared to high school in Marine geographical knowledge, the penetration thus the ocean consciousness as a recessive indicators to measure the junior middle school geography teaching, virtually make relatively young children early to set up ocean consciousness.In addition, to strengthen the ocean consciousness of students, based on teaching materials should also strengthen the interactions between disciplines, even relying on the class inside and outside of all form of life experience to further enhance awareness.
