Research On The Marine Awareness Education In Geography Teaching Process In Senior Middle School

The twenty-first century is the century of ocean, enhance the national ocean consciousness has become a great trend of worldwide, at the same time some coastal countries choose it as their strategic choices. China is a big ocean country rather than a maritime power, this situation tells that we has much to do with the education of our country’s marine awareness. High school is an important part of national education, so pay attention to the awareness of marine education for high school students is an important way to improve the national ocean consciousness and build a maritime power.In this paper, based on the high school geography teaching process, the author using the literature research method, questionnaire survey method, comparative method and interviews and other research methods, conducts the research to the situation of education in high school geography of ocean consciousness.there’s four parts in this paper: the first part is mainly elaborated the connotation of marine consciousness, and the current status of domestic marine education comparison research;the second part is mainly introducing the necessity of ocean consciousness education of high school students and the basis of this theory of ocean consciousness education; the third part is mainly through the investigation of the present situation of high school geography education of marine awareness the questionnaire, and carries on the analysis;the fourth part is mainly of marine consciousness education current situation of high school problems are:I.the teachers do not pay enough attention to the education of marine awareness in high school;II.the marine knowledge level of high school geography teachers is worrying;III.the students are interested in the knowledge of the ocean, but do not strong enough to master them;IV.the high school students’ marine knowledge acquisition approach is single.The author thinks that the cause of these problems is:I.marine required textbook content less;II.the influence of college entrance examination;III.the government and the social media publicity.So the author put forward to strengthen awareness of marine education countermeasures: I.Change the teaching arrangement, increase the content of compulsory Marine Geography;II.To increase the training of teachers, improve the understanding of the ocean;III.The government and education authorities at all levels actively should introduce a strong policy, vigorously develop the marine cultural undertakings;IV.Social media strengthen the consciousness of ocean education propaganda.Hope this study could help to improve reference significance of ocean consciousness education situation of high school.
