The Clinical Observation About Chronic Urticaria And Effect On Serum Total IgE In The Treatment Of Dai Medicine Antidote Yajieshaba

Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of Dai medicine Yajieshaba combined with Ebastine Tablets in the treatment of chronic urticaria and the effect of the total serum IgE,and then evaluate whether there are some advantages in the treatment of chronic urticaria while combining traditional Dai and Western medicine together.Meanwhile,it will explore the mechanism of the treatment of chronic urticaria.Methods: 80 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups which are namely treatment group and control group.The treatment group(n = 40)and the control group(n = 40).The control group with oral administration of second generation antihistamines,Ebastine Tablets,10 mg,once a day,Yupingfeng capsule,2 capsules each time,3 times a day.The treatment group with oral administration of second generation antihistamines,Ebastine Tablets,10 mg,once a day,Dai medicine Yajieshaba(Baijie capsule),5 capsules each time,3 times a day.The two groups were treated 2 weeks for 1 cycle,respectively before treatment,after the second week of the treatment,after the fourth week of treatment.Then they will respectively observe and record the patients' symptoms scores,the total symptom scores,clinical efficacy and the safety index during the medication,the adverse reaction during the treatment process and the changes of the total serum IgE before treatment and after 4 weeks' treatment,and follow up the cured patients in one month after treatment,then record the recurrence of the cured patients.Results: 1.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate in treatment group was 89.5%,while the rate in control group was 71.1%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);2.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total scores of symptoms in the two groups were statistically significant(P< 0.05);3.After 4 weeks of treatment,the difference in the degree of itching,the color,number and size of the wheal in two groups was statistically significant(P< 0.05);4.After 4 weeks of treatment,there were statistically significant differences in the serum IgE levels of the two groups(P < 0.05);5.There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events of the patients in two groups(that of the treatment group was5.26% and that of the control group was 7.89%)(P> 0.05);6.There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups(that of the treatment group was 20%and that of the control group was 33.3%)(P> 0.05).Conclusion: 1.It is safe and effective while combining Yajieshaba and Ebastine Tablets in the treatment of chronic urticaria.Its curative effect is better than the use of Yupingfeng capsule and Ebastine Tablets.Compared with the use of Yupingfeng and Ebastine Tablets,it has more advantages in reducing the total serum IgE.2.The mechanism of the treatment of chronic urticaria with Yajieshaba is related to the decrease of the concentration of serum IgE.
