Relation Between Total Ige And C3, C4, IL-2,IL-4, IFN-γ In Serum Of Chronic Idopathic Urticaria

At pressent, we believe that chronic idopathic urticaria(CIU) is a kind of immune disease. In order to investigate CIU total IgE relation to C3,C4, IL2,IL-4, and IFN-yin serum, and further to investigate chronic urticaria’s total serum IgE relation to Th1/Th2out of balance, the total serum IgE was measured by sandwich ELISA, the C3, C4and IgG were measured by Immune Turbidimetry and the IL-2, IL-4, IFN-γwere measured by ELISA in147patients with CIU,59patients with acute urticaria (AU),38normal controls. To investigate modulatory effect of glucosidorum Tripterygii tororum(GTT) on serum total IgE and Th1/Th2cytokine of chronic idopthic urticaria(CIU) patients, and further to investigate the mechanism of treatment on GTT for CIU, autologous serum skin test(ASST) detection were performed in210CIU patients, according to the result assigned to positive ASST group and negative ASST group, and these two groups assigned to treatment and control group at randomly. The total serum IgE, IL-2, IL-4, IFN-γwere measured by ELISA in210CIU patients pre and post treatment. All groups of date were analysized by SPSS17.0statistical software.These result were following as:(1) The total serum IgE was higher in CIU patients than that of in the normal controls(P<0.05) The IL-2, IFN-ywere lower in CIU patients than that of in the normal controls (P<0.05). The IL-4were higher in CIU patients than that of in the normal controls (P<0.05). The total serum IgE and IL-4were lower in CIU patients who first and second returned visit without symptom post treatment with Desloratadine than pre treatment(P<0.05). The total serum IgE in CIU patients was positive correlation to the level of IL-4(rs=0.433), and was negative correlation to IL-2and IFN-y(rs=-0.531, rs=-0.476).(2)The treatment group of CIU was treated with GTT and Desloratadine, and the control group was treated with Desloratadine. Post treatment14d and28d, the efficient rate of treatment group were higher than control group in possitve ASST CIU patients (P<0.05); Post treatment14d and28d, there was no significant difference between treatment and control group in negative ASST CIU patients (P>0.05); Post treatment14d and28d, the level of serum total IgE was lower than that of pre treatment in possitve ASST CIU patients(P<0.05); Post treatment28d, the IL-4was lower than that of pre treatment in possitve ASST CIU patients(P<0.05), but there was no significant difference beween post treatment14d and pre treatment(P>0.05); The IL-2and IFN-y of post treatment were higher than that of pre treatment, but there were no significant in possitve ASST CIU patients(P>0.05).These results show that:(1) The serum total IgE and IL-4might be relation to Thl/Th2out of balance. If depressing the expression of serum total IgE, it might be favour of recovering the Th1/Th2balance.(2) GTT has effect on positive ASST CIU patients, but no effect on negative ASST CIU patients. GTT could help CIU patients to reduce the level of serum IgE and correct the imbalance state of Th1/Th2cytkines, which may be the mechanism of GTT effecting on CIU.
