Objective : By studying the clinical efficacy of acupoints(SP10,GB31)autohemotherapy combined with oral medicine(Danggui Yinzi and Ebastine Tablets)in the treatment of chronic urticaria(blood deficiency and wind-drying syndrome)to compare the curative effect difference between acupoints autohemotherapy and autohemotherapy, and objectively evaluate the effect and safety of this treatment, therefore to provide a basis for clinical use of this program to treat chronic urticaria(blood deficiency and wind-drying syndrome). Methods:A randomized controlled trial of 79 patients with chronic urticaria who met the criteria for inclusion in the study was randomized into a treatment group of 40 patients and a control group of 39 patients. The basic therapeutic regimen of the two groups of subjects was treated with oral Chinese medicine Danggui Yinzi and ebastine tablets 10mg/d.In addition, the treatment group was given acupoints(SP10,GB31)autohemotherapy once a week, and the control group was given autohemotherapyonce a week, and both groups need be treated for a total of 8 weeks. The investigator record the degree of itching, the size of the wheal, the number of wheals, the frequency of wheal attacks, and the duration of the wheal before treatment,at the 4th and 8th week of treatment, and gives objective scores, record patients' tolerance and adverse reactions.Differences in treatment efficacy between the two groups were compared using SPSS 23.0 analysis data. The investigator followed up patients who recovered after 1 month and 3 months of treatment and recorded recurrence.Results:(1)There were no statistically significant differences in the symptoms and signs scores between the two groups at the 4th and the 8th week of treatment, suggesting that the efficacy of the two groups during the observation period was basically the same.(2)The symptoms and signs of patients in each group improved with the prolongation of treatment time, but the treatment group was more advantageous in the comparison of the number of lesions at the 4th week of treatment.(3)The severity of the disease improved after treatment in both groups, but there was no significant difference in comparison.(4)At the 4th week of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 50% and 26.9%.At the 8th week of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 84.21% and 80.56%,but there was no statistically significant difference.(5)The treatment group was more advantageous in controlling the recurrence rate in the long-term(3 months after recovery).(6)There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups, and no serious adverse events occurred, which led to the cessation of the trial.Disclusions: The two treatment regimens used in this trial can effectively treat patients with chronic urticaria blood deficiency and wind-drying syndrome. The specific symptoms and signs of treating are effective, but there is no significant difference. The improvement in the number of lesions in the control group at week 4 was not as good as in the treatment group. The treatment group was more advantageous in controlling the long-term recurrence rate. There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups and the they are both safe. Therefore,it is clinically possible to choose acupoints autohemotherapy or autohemotherapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine and/or antihistamines to treat chronic urticaria. However, this study is affected by a variety of interventions, limited by small sample and geographical or other subjective and objective factors, and the accuracy of acupoints need to be further confirmed,so it has certain limitations, and further research is needed.
