The Combination Between A New Curative Approach Of TCM And Ebastine For Urticaria Chronica Patients To Control Response In IL-17 And IL-35

Objective: The paper adopted the combination between a new curative approach of TCM and Ebastine for chronic urticaria.Before and after the treatment,we would test and analysis the levels of serum interleukin-17(IL-17)and interleukin-35(IL-35)to investigate the partial pathogenesis of chronic urticaria.Methods: The cases were from Department of Dermatology in Henan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.31 patients who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the treatment group.According to the new curative approach of TCM,we would give Chinese medicine in the daily two times,every time 200ml;At the same time the treatment group also should take the Ebastine Tablets 10 mg,QN,with the gradual reduction to stop according to skin lesions,but continur to take Chinese herbal 2months.1 months been seen as a course of treatment,a total of 6 courses of treatment.The levels of serum interleukin-17(IL-17)and interleukin-35(IL-35)which compared to 31 healthy volunteers should be measured before and after treatment(or cure).Results: Adopted the combination between a new curative approach of TCM and Ebastine to cure 31 cases of chronic urticaria patients,20 cases were cured,4 cases improved,3 cases were effective,4cases were invalid.The average value of IL-17 before treatment was 11.04ng/L,and the average value was 9.93ng/L after treatment,p>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.The average value of IL-35 before treatment was 76.22ng/L,and the average value was 51.04ng/L after treatment,compared with each other,p <0.05,which was statistically difference.The mean of IL-17 in the control group was 10.49ng/L,compared with the mean in the treatment group before treatment,p>0.05,which was not statistically difference;Compared with the mean in the treatment group after treatment,p>0.05,the difference was not significative,too.The average value of IL-35 in the control group was 46.79ng/L,compared with the mean in treatment group before treatment,p>0.05,there were not significant differences;Compared with the mean in treatment group after treatment,p>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusions: 1.After the treatment of combination between a new curative approach of TCM and Ebastine,there was not statistically significant between the treatment group and the control group in IL-17.2.After the treatment of combination between a new curative approach of TCM and Ebastine,There was significant in IL-35,but there was not statistically significant between the treatment group and the control group in IL-35.3.The combination between a new curative approach of TCM and Ebastine is safe and effective in treatment of chronic urticaria.4.There is an imbalance in the function of Treg lymphocyte subsets in chronic urticaria patients.
