The Clinical Observations On The Efficacy Of Abdominal Acupuncture-catgut Embedding Combined With Ebastine Tablets To Treat Chronic Urticaria

Objective: To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy,safety,influence on patients' quality of life and reduce recurrence of chronic urticarial with abdominal acupuncturecatgut embedding combined with ebastine tablets to treat,to explore the feasibility of applying abdominal acupuncture theory to chronic urticarial.Methods: According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,72 patients were randomly divided into two groups,36 in each group.The test period is 4 weeks,the treatment group was treated with abdominal acupuncture-catgut embedding combined with ebastine tablets,the control group which only had ebastine tablets.If the subject's symptoms disappear,the amount of ebastine will be gradually reduced.According to the urticaria symptom grading score every week.And urticaria activity score(UAS)and dermatology life quality index(DLQI)were performed before and after treatment.After the treatment,the urticaria symptom scale score,UAS score and DLQI score before and after the treatment were compared between the two groups.The efficacy of the two groups was evaluated by urticaria symptom score.On the 30 th day after the test the subjects were followed up,the symptom grades of subjects in the two groups were compared basis on urticaria symptom grading score.The data collected were analyzed by SPSS22.0.Results:(1)There have 63 subjects completed the clinical study.There was no significant difference in age,gender,course of disease,urticaria symptom grading score,UAS,DLQI between the two groups(P>0.05),and the baseline was the same.(2)After treatment,the score of urticaria symptom grading scale in the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the UAS score of the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment,P<0.05 in the group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The DLQI score of the two groups was lower than that before treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group,P<0.05.(4)Comparison of the oral dosage of the two groups fourth week,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)(5)The total effective rate was 90.62% in the treatment group and 83.87% in the control group(P<0.05).(6)The symptom grades of the cured,effective and effective subjects in the two groups were compared basis on urticaria symptom grading score,the scores of the two groups were lower than after treatment,the treatment group was lower than the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:1.The abdominal acupuncture-catgut embedding combined with ebastine tablets and oral ebastine tablet alone both has advantages in controlling the clinical symptoms of patients with chronic urticaria,without serious adverse reactions.2.The abdominal acupuncture-catgut embedding combined with ebastine tablets has more advantages in controlling the clinical symptoms and improving the quality of life of patients.3.The combination of abdominal acupuncture-catgut embedding with ebastine tablets is better than oral ebastine alone in the control of recurrence.
