A Study On The Food Safety Problem In HEFEI Economic & Technological Development Arae And Its Countermeasures

Currently, the problem of food safety not only is related with the interests of everyone, but also affects the health of the broad masses of the people. With the rapid development of China’s economy in recent years, China’s food safety reform is deepening. Yet there has been no radical cure for the problem of food safety, with food safety incidents often being found in all kinds of reports.The basis of food safety supervision and administration is weak and the situation of China’s food safety is not optimistic. However, generally speaking, with food safety supervision in China progressing steadily and food safety situation improving gradually, the supervision and administration of food safety in China has entered a new stage of development.Under such a background/In this context, this article/essay takes the system of food safety supervision and administration in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area (ETDA) as its research object. This essay compares the theory and practice of food safety supervision and administration home and abroad, analyzes the current situation of food safety supervision and administration in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area, takes into consideration the distinct characteristics of food safety supervision issues in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area. And finally by applying the idea of national institutional reform, it suggests a new food safety regulatory system with its own characteristics specifically for Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area. First of all, on the basis of literature research, this paper analyzes the basic status of food safety supervision and management home and abroad, summarizes the successful experiences of food safety regulation in both domestic and foreign advanced regions. It then conducts a thorough analysis of the current situation and existing problems of food safety in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area. Eventually, with regard to the real situation of Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area, this essay brings out a series of policy and suggestions to improve the food safety supervision and administration in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area, which includes establishing a unified, coordinated, effective food safety supervision and administration institution, gradually improving the quality of the main bodies involved in food safety supervision and management, building and perfecting the risk warning and emergency response mechanism, establishing a sound credit system.
