Research On The Demand Management Of Z Bank Software Project

Along with the continuously development of Internet Finance, financial disintermediation accelerated and interest rate marketization promoted, the development space of traditional banking is under pressure. Meanwhile, bank, insurance and securities firms, have begun a variety of financial products competition, banking innovation products business is increasingly dependent on the information technology. Software project is not only an important platform for banks to provide services, but also become a core component of the competitiveness of the bank. To improve the quality and efficiency of software project, software requirement management is an important part of software development, affects the quality, cost, schedule and other issues. A branch of Bank Z for many years to the development of software project attention degree is not enough, slow development of the information technology sector, demand for software project management system is chaotic, resulting in duplication of software development, progress is slow, ineffective and other problems.As the research object, the branch of Bank Z, we will focus on the requirement management of software projects. Based on theory of software project management, requirement management and PMBOK scope management, facing the status of requirement management of software projects in that Branch, analizing existing problems from multiple sights, proposing improved treatment considering demand planning, demand analysis, demand confirmation, demand change, and demand tracking. At the same time, from the practice of general measures and work structure WBS decomposition, requirements traceability matrix, with quality center software tools and other research methods, applied to a branch of Z bank high speed etc, through the case analysis to to verify the improvement of the effect of the implementation of the measures, to further improve the management system are proposed.Standing the application of demand management in software project management in this Branch of Bank Z, my paper identify problems, analyze the reasons, put forward countermeasures and complete cases analysis, reach the following conclusions.To solve requirement management issues in bank software projects, standard of requirement management must be improved; then good demand planning, demand analysis, demand confirmation, requirement change, demand tracking would be helpful; finally strengthen implementation of the norms and emphasize the valuable experience. Under the circumstances, we might overcome the problems encountered in the process of requirement management, overall promote and enhance the management of the organization, and to the next level.The research achievement of this paper is, why and how to establish a set of software requirements management system for the Branch of Bank Z, also provide reference for the financial industry.
