Requirement Management Reserch Of IOS System Navigation Products Development Project

With the rapid development of urban construction and the growth of car ownership, the radius of people’s activities continue to expand, the requirement for the GPS navigation system is increasing. At the same time, because of the development of Smartphone system like IOS, Android, Window Mobile and Symbian, the mobile phone is no longer only a simple communication function, its strong scalability to provide users a variety of possible with a variety of entertainment and works. GPS navigation software has become a standard feature of the smart phone.In this context, the company launched the development project of iOS system navigation software product. To develop a navigation software products on the iOS system, we need to make a new design which can take full advantage of the system characteristics and consider the operation habits and preferences of iOS users. The product must retain the professional quality of the navigation, but also give users a new operating experience. It is not a simple problem to a team which has no experience in iOS development environment. Face to a unfamiliar development environment, a complex market requirement, and strong competitors, we need to scientific analysis the requirement, definition and clearly the requirement, highlight the product features, manage the implementing and changing of requirement during the project process. In conditions of the changing market, the endless new ideas, and the technical limitations, to ensure that requirement does not deviate from the focus but can work in the appropriate range is the key to successful product.This paper introduces the theory and methods of the project requirement management, describes the development of the satellite navigation systems and smart phones, describes the current study of the domestic and foreign requirement management, analysis the characteristics of the product requirement management, discuss the processes of the requirement management. And used requirement management theories and methods in the iOS system navigation product development project, elaborated the practices like requirement elicitation, requirement analysis, requirement identification, and requirement change control, which ensure the successful completion of product development project. Finally, by summing up the practical experience of the project requirement management, propose improved countermeasures to provide reference for future project management work.
