Research On Requirement Management Optimization Of W Company’s Virtual Simulation Gold Course Project

Requirements are the starting point of a software project and plays a decisive role in the success of the whole project.Unclear requirements and frequent changes in requirements may lead to rework,overspending,delay or even failure of the project.Through perfect and scientific requirement management methods,problems such as unclear requirements and frequent change of requirements can be optimized to a large extent,thus improving the success rate of project delivery.This paper mainly focuses on the current situation of requirements management in the development process of virtual simulation gold class project of W company,combining theory and practice to give solutions to the relevant requirements management problems and to verify the implementation.This paper firstly introduces the basic concepts of software project management and requirements management,analyzes the current research status and research results on requirements management of software projects at home and abroad,and summarizes and composes the common problems in requirements management of software projects with the current research results.Secondly,the current situation of W company is introduced,and the current situation of demand management of virtual simulation gold class project of W company is investigated and studied by interview method and comparison method,and the current problems of W company are found.The problems mainly include four aspects:confusion of requirement sources,inability to express requirements clearly,frequent requirement changes and untimely requirement follow-up.To address the problems in the requirements management process of the virtual simulation gold class project of W Company,this paper thirdly forms a targeted optimization plan by supplementing the management ideas related to requirements communication channels on the basis of the theory of requirements management in PMBOK.The proposal highlights the improvement of the requirements management process:strengthening the requirements communication channel management,optimizing the requirements collection and recording,optimizing the requirements change handling,and strengthening the requirements follow-up and management within the organization.Fourthly,after the improvement plan was proposed,a three-month trial run was conducted in order to verify whether the plan could achieve the expected results.The results showed that the solution could achieve good results in the process of requirements management and meet the expected goals.The research in this paper mainly provides practical solutions for the process of demand management related to the development of virtual simulation gold class projects,which is beneficial for W company to improve the efficiency of virtual simulation gold class project development,and also has certain guiding significance for the companies in the same industry.
