With the focus of communication gradually into the modern people’s life, both from the media need or the audience to receive information demand aspect, all the information dissemination way have a very important meaning and function. For the tourism program is in the focus of the channel, the use of public communication means to produce and spread the program is even more important.Nowadays, tourism has become the people daily life essential leisure, tourism program attracts more and more audience’s attention and love, travel show functional and ornamental makes the audience for travel programs to watch the increasing demand. Travel programs in many forms, both at home and abroad has many mature development of tourism brand program, but the domestic, the development of local tourism programs still in initial stage, a number of local stations due to the shortage of resources scarcity of talent is difficult to obtain better propaganda effect. How to overcome local tourism programs congenitally deficient, looking for a new development road, is to in-depth study of this dissertation.The to sub public communication theory as the basis, combined with the theory of cultural dissemination, study of the current situation of the development of local tourism program, from the process to the successful development of the excellent local travel program sum up experience, combining with the participation of the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the making of the local tourism development program, for the innovation and development of the local tourism programs to provide the countermeasure and the suggestion.The framework of this paper is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly explains the significance of this research, the research status and the innovation points and research methods, and makes a brief introduction to the article.The second chapter is an overview of relevant theories, main focus communication theory and cultural communication theory were in detail, analyze and discuss the role of the two theories to the development of local TV Travel Show.The third chapter mainly discusses the development of the local TV station tourism, the development of the program from the local TV station to analyze the law of its development.In the fourth chapter, taking the two representative local TV stations as an example, the advantages and disadvantages of the development of the local TV station are pointed.The fifth chapter puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions on the innovation and development of the local TV station, mainly from three aspects: the integration of cultural communication, the transformation of the mode of operation and the use of the new media.
