Social educational TV programs since the launch date, has been charged with enriching the cultural knowledge, cultivating the public moral sentiment, improving the social educational function of the public aesthetic taste, at the same time as well as a main tool of the social mainstream ideology of TV communication. From the beginning of the Chinese TV institutions, social educational programs and news programs, entertainment programs together form the three pillars of TV programs. Social educational TV programs play an important role in improving the cultural quality of the people in the process, as well as an important index to enhance the national cultural soft power. However, with the development of the society, the progress of science and technology, the development of our country’s social educational TV programs is unsatisfactory: the program quality is not high, the old content lack of uniqueness, the programs’ form is single and not innovative, the transmission channel is narrow. But the entertainment programes is booming, attracted the eyes of the vast majority of the audience, these factors will inevitably affect the long-term development of the Social educational TV programs and the realization of the communication effect.
