Abstract: First, this thesis looks back about the development course of TV entertainmentprogram of China and makes sure that it can be divided into four period: evening showsperiod, playing period, benefit of mentality and gambling period, and reality show period.Then, from this thesis, we can find the characteristic of the current TV variety shows, thecompetition of CCTV and local TV and the competition prospects of the three varietyshows platform. And there are four special features in the current TV entertainmentprogram: the gradual rise of entertainment program share, the accelerating pace ofprogram innovation, the gradual incorporation of program production into larger mediaplatform, and the industrial running of entertainment program. The problems of thecurrent entertainment program are the vulgar communication taste, the retardedcommunication content and the lacking communication pattern of innovation. Since wehave known the problem of Chinese entertainment program, we must discard old ideas andbring out new ones and aim at Green TV of China. We understand that if the variety showswant to develop themselves, they should maintain excellent moral character, lift up theculture connotation, get in touch with people and feature about local communication. It isinnovation that we can lead our entertainment program into a bright road. In addition, theinnovation of TV entertainment program has some request to the presiders. At last, fromthe success of《Happy Dictionary》and the Korea entertainment program, we can importthe outstanding develop roads into our TV industrial revolution to find the right path ofour variety shows program.
