Currently, the Internet is becoming to the necessary tool for people to learn about the world and communicate with each others. The scale internet users are growing up rapidly and teenagers become the largest one of it. Due to the wide and numerous of the information sources in the internet, young people may be vulnerable to bad information and been misleading if they are lack of the necessarily understanding of online media. Therefore, network media literacy for young people to better adapt to the information age is necessity and urgency. This paper investigate young people of 14 cities in Guangdong province to analysis the current situation of the youth network of media literacy. The results show that young people in Guangdong province generally acquire the skills about acquisition, production, capacity transmission information in network media, but the lack of knowledge about the connotation of network media literacy which is necessary to learn shows in this research as well. For the status quo, to enhance network media literacy should take government, school, family, society, the media and other parties to work together. Government to create through the introduction of relevant laws and regulations the network environment; increase financial support for research institutions and other methods for the network media education to create a good social environment. Schools and social agencies to establish a network of media literacy education system, to cover different ages and educational attainment of young people. Parents of teenagers reasonable supervision and guidance, but the media should also bear social responsibility of young people for publicity guidelines.
