This group of migrant children is accompanied by China’s urbanization process for generating and expanding its own socialization process has become part of the social development process. Facing the new era of mass information media all day style, seamless infiltration, have basic media literacy has become one of the basic qualities of today’s era of citizens. Because migrant children in all aspects of its own is not yet mature, for the use of the media, cognition, evaluation, participation is still in the ignorant stage, this time, the family as an important place for the formation of its media literacy, in the process role Can not be ignored. So, how to give effective guidance and education of migrant children at a critical stage of media literacy formation, become an urgent problem.This study selected the distance in our province, the provincial capital city of Zhengzhou recent county-level city, XingYang city as study sites, and select the local migrant children are concentrated in the three primary school of questionnaires and individual interviews. Before and after a total of 300 questionnaires were issued, 6 individual interviews. By late finishing interview data, at the same time, by using statistical software for the recovery of 294 valid questionnaires were related research and analysis, and ultimately to XingYang city at present rural migrant children existing media literacy level have a more basic and objective understanding.Survey results show that he flow of the overall level of media literacy of children showing low status in the current.In the same time, the flow of media family holdings, liquidity family structure, family members’ educational level flow and other factors all can influence the level of media literacy of urban and rural migrant children.The first is to improve the flow of media education family environment. Not only to create conditions for migrant children further contact with the media on the matter, but also to provide a good environment for their psychological and behavioral media literacy education. The second is to enhance awareness of mobile families in media education. Family as monitoring children’s growth intermediate links, whether with good sense of media literacy education is also an important part. Third is to improve the level of media literacy of migrant children their parents. Migrant Children from themselves, to improve the literacy level, to truly become migrant children daily imitation and learning good objects, and strive to produce internalization on migrant children in the nurture. Fourth, improve parental media education and encourage parents to effectively guide the flow of children. Interactive media, such as efforts to build a family environment situation, the amount of critical thinking to cultivate children; family members to share media, helps children learn to share, to master the skills of media; media rich family activities, train children to form good habits and the like. Fifth, focus on training mobile families harmonious parent-child relationship.
