At present, the phase-locked loop occupies an indispensable position in the electronic system. In order to make the phase-locked loop to adapt the development of the microprocessor, improvement of phase-locked loop frequency division number and broaden the signal frequency range become inevitable trend. At the same time, with the development of space technology, microprocessors have already applied to the complex space environment. At present, under the premise that the small size of integrated circuit manufacturing technology, has replaced the single particle effect total dose effect become the main radiation effect in the complex space environment. Therefore, research on programmable resistance to single particle radiation phase-locked loop has important significance.Based on programmable phase-locked loop and the single event effect(SET) of phase-locked loop theory study and design examples, programmable resistance to radiation phase-locked loop is designed. This programmable phase-locked loop applied SMIC0.18μm process is complete, can achieve 100 MHZ to 1.5 GHz frequency signal synchronous transmission, and can complete several integer and fraction frequency division. In different input frequency and frequency of work condition, programmable phase-locked loop around 250 ns time is required to complete the signal acquisition and maintain the function of the lock.After the completion of a programmable phase lock loop design, adopt the method of double index of current source into analog circuit test of radiation, according to the dual index of current source into the conclusion of sensitive part of the circuit. Level due to the use of the circuit is strengthening methods, so in the process of reinforcement design of the circuit will be introduced by reinforcing circuit with the single particle effect caused by sensitive nodes programmable phase-locked loop integral function and the effects of performance into account, and to reinforce the circuit also adopted the corresponding methods to prevent the effect of single particle. By the simulation results show that, after the reinforcement, programmable phase-locked loop in under the influence of single particle effect after the recovery time is about one over ten of the unreinforced circuit, and caused by single particle injection of vco control voltage node voltage difference is also improved to a certain extent, programmable phase-locked loop resistance to improve the performance of the single particle effect.
