In order to be able to distribute in different geographical location, resources of different enterprises, different types of integrated together, and to better realize the sharing of resources,it combines with the research and design of the relationship between the design of system architecture, the three-dimensional parametric design of parts resources, organization modes of the resources and integration with database, developed the distributed parts library heterogeneous system under heterogeneous CAD platforms. The system provides the users a platform that they can create parts library and have the management right, at the same time, other users can access the parts library, share with other users of the platform resources. Based on the 3D CAD secondary development, resource construction of three-dimensional parts and database technology, it realizes the on-line parameter-driven, the expansion of parts resource and on the parts of resource management and other functions. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Based on the distributed parts library system requirements analysis, the use of ASP.NET under the framework of the C# advanced programming language, through the Visual Studio2008, SQL Server2005 and other development tools, to complete the design of the overall structure of the system and each functional module in the B/S framework.(2) Through the research on the parametric design method of parts resource, 3D CAD software secondary development interface technology, Inventor as an example to introduce the 3D CAD software secondary development technology and packaging technology, it completed the interface development and unified package of 3D CAD software, realizes the on-line parameter-driven function, for saving a lot space for the database of the whole system.(3) Through the study of three-dimensional parts resource construction technology, system uses part family and tabular layouts of article characteristics method on three-dimensional parts resources description, and according to all the resources in the system data, through the study of the ADO.NET technology, designs the database of the system.(4) Through the comparison between the distributed parts library and integrated parts library,it designs the method of mutual access between distributed parts library and integrated parts library, as distributed parts library users and library administrators can also access each other’s resources.(5) Through the research and use of ASP.NET, Visual Studio2008, SQL Server2005 and other system development tools, the prototype system of distributed Parts Library under the Heterogeneous CAD platforms, a prototypical instance of the whole system and introduced, verifies the operability of the system.
