An series of key technologies, including constraints solving,constraints driving and hidden-line suppressing forhybrid-models, were proposed, for the Standard Part Library ofURSoft's Solid2000, on the theoretical basis of ofparameterization analysis, variational and feature basedmodeling. Meanwhile, the technology of creating standard partfrom assembly model, were studied and implemented. In thedesign of standard-part-library toolkit, It was fully takeninto consideration of the integration of 3D Modelling andNational Standards on 2D Drawing. This paper summarized thehistory of development and the current status of standardlibrary technology, and performed a detail comparison ofdomestic commercial software with foreign software in area offunctionality of part library construction. Then a generalmethod of standard part library construction without devoteddevelopment environment, was proposed. And functionalitiesof creation,removing,editing,inquiry were provided for themanagment of standard part library. All these functionalitiesand technologies, fulfilled the specification of of relavantNational Standard and the requirements of Chinese users.
