In recent years, with the rapid developing of IT and networks, computer is widely used to help handle office business. Gradually electronic documents replace paper documents. Some important data like customers’ information is stored in computers in electronic documents form. There is no doubt that computer improves the efficiency and saves resources, meanwhile the security of managing documents becomes a serious problem. By using computer, it increases the risk of leaking important information and doing some uncorrectable damage to the documents. These risks may not only bother staff but also cause the enterprise a great lost. So an electronic documents managing strategy which is in enterprise scale and can manage electronic documents very well is imperative.By studying the background of electronic documents managing, this paper proposes an electronic documents managing strategy which can manage electronic documents safely. This strategy consists of chaotic encryption technology, documents management and file transmission. Chaos theory is becoming a hot topic these years, and it is closely to cryptology. For instance, the great sensitivity of initial condition and parameters of chaos is like the characteristic of spread of cryptology. This paper combines chaos and AES and combines chaos and DES. The strategy makes use of characteristics of chaos to solve the problems of AES and DES. In this way, the new strategy is efficient and hard to break. And considering search of files and process of rubbish files, the strategy can guarantee customers communicate with each other safely.Firstly this paper describes notions of chaos theory, AES and DES and introduces AES related theories. And then analyze the shortcomings of AES. After that this paper improves AES and analyzes the improved method from the aspect of safety. Secondly this paper introduces DES and improves it. At last this paper applies improved AES and improved DES to file management system.
