Traditional automatic environment test system mainly depends on specific equipment. With setting parameters as core data, the test program will be executed in required order. Though this program-oriented automatic test system greatly meets the test demands, it still has a lot of limitations such as poor TPS portability and equipment interchangeability, what’s worse, the cost of this test program is also very high. To adress this problem, the industry come up with an idea of signal-oriented test system, and developed a series of standards to support the interoperability of system resource information test. This new test method made it feasible to develop an universal automatic test system.In this paper, we will discuss and analysis the signal-oriented design philosophy, and introduce software platform design scheme for this test system. Based on the relevant standards, author designed and implemented real-time allocation of resources for the test system on the software platform. The followings are the major work:1) The realization of signal components. The signal modeling tools are used to describe static and dynamic signal components, and they are the foundation of real-time allocation of resources. When designing the software, the graphic operation is used to create signal for the system, and at the same time, it will generate a document describing the static signal which follows the STD standards. According to this document, we can test the signal and build dynamic model of this signal automatically.2) The implementation of the run-time system. The run-time system is very crucial for real-time allocation of resources. Through analysing the structure and information of description document of ATML system, we will put forward a feasible plan for the run-time system. This run-time system with initial channel, signal matching ability and automatic selection function, is achieved by DLL function library, and can call the corresponding function according to the specific test task.3) The verification of real-time resource allocation project. By building test samples, author verified the function and performance of the signal modeling tools and run-time system respectively. Verification results show that the signal modeling tool can realize the function of the signal components, the generated description XML documents of signal definition are in accordance with STD specification. Run-time system can analyse the test requirements, select the best test channel automatically, and performs stably.The signal modeling tools and run-time system based on STD are of great reference value for researchs of real-time allocation of resources, and the automatic test system. They also has some practical value.
