Automatic Test System(ATS) first appeared to complete specialized testing tasks in military field, with the rapid development of equipment and technology, the demand for the ATS is increasing. But the professional automation test system faces a problem of the increaseing development and maintenance costs, so the direction of the ATS is universal. With the appearance of standard specification in the field of VXI and PXI bus, ATS can be assembled by standardized instrument module,the hardware level has realized the universal, but there still have two problems: the portability of the TPS and the interchangeability of the instrument is weak. The key reason is that the ATS software platform is developed based on the instrument. A new signal-oriented design ideas is emerge in recent years, through the abstract from instrument capability to signal, the TPS’s development does not have to face the specific instruments, the two problems will be effectively solved. A series of industry standard such as ATML and STD provide theoretical support for realize the signal-oriented.This paper discusses the signal-oriented software platform architecture in detail, and analyzes the key technologies used to solve this problems in all the levels : 1)use ATML standard to define a hierarchy for test resources, to standardize the format of the description and save.In this way, to solve the problem of TPS’s portability; 2) use STD standard defined a generic description structure for the signal to realize the versatility of the instrument. Based on these studies, the author’s work mainly as the follow two aspects:1)Design a set of tools for system modeling based on ATML standards, including instrument modelingã€testing stations modelingã€UUT connection modeling and system modeling. These tools provide a friendly interface for testers to modeling system resources conveniently, then save them in a standards XML document.2)By analysis the capacity requirement of the test system, author complete the design and debugging of the test station. Through resolve the problems during testing, author finally ensure the correct operation of the test stations hardware platform.The study of signal-oriented ATS in domestic is still in the beginning stage, the only research results cannot solve the problem of poor universal. In this paper, the design of system modeling tools based on ATML standard and the hardware platform scheme based on PXI can provide experience for ATS’s universal. |
