With the rapid development of electronic technology, the functionality ofelectronic products has been greatly improved,at the same time its complexity is alsogreatly enhanced,and such a higher demand has been raised for automated test systemtesting electronic products,at the present stage Automatic test technology industryresearching ATE from facing the instruments turn to the signal. For improving thecommon use of ATE,this dissertation completed the modeling the signal ability ofinstruments, as well as the oscilloscope and the arbitrary waveform generatormanagement at the TPS operating platform under the LabWindows/CVI developmentplatform.Instrument signal modeling realized transfer test request from signal to insrtumentdescribe.Accroding design signal import interface,showing the aignal abilities of theATS with XML.Instrument contronl and manage complying with IVI-C standard andthe ATML standard,design the class driver of instrumen while managing test control andpackage the ability funcation of instrument.After debugging and program the appropriate test procedures,the instrumentssignal ability description tool transfer test requst from signal to instrument successful.The test instrument can exchange and the ability funcation of instrument improving testmanage.
