Information literacy as an essential capability in the information age, is a growingconcern. Today, the society has entered the era of information network, in the face of theexplosive growth of information and lifelong learning skills necessary to become a modern,so information literacy training is for people to live in the information age imperative. If nottimely and effective access to information they need, people like rowing, unable to move.The rapid development of the information society and the proliferation of makinglifelong learning a skill essential to modern, good quality information is to achieve theprerequisite and guarantee of lifelong learning.In this paper, Xinjiang University Teachers’ Information Literacy for the surveyobjectives, conduct research through questionnaires and individual interviews combination.Study selected five representative Xinjiang university, college teachers in Xinjianginformation on a systematic analysis of the quality of research, on the basis of universityteachers training model was constructed Xinjiang information quality.I hope that my research can enhance the college teachers of information literacy inXinjiang and the overall level of research and teaching to enhance play a role, and providereference for the relevant departments in the western development, personnel training work.
