Nowadays, media literacy has been required in our society. The researches concerning the construction of medium literacy have been going on for many years. Their purposes are to cultivate people's media literacy which people of high grade should have to face the coming age. As main executor of teaching administrative work, the teaching administrator in colleges and universities directly face concrete teaching affairs, teachers and students, and their words and deeds directly show the situations of universities' and that of their teaching administrative work. Therefore, media literacy is one part of teaching administrators' sound makings.This paper, on the basis of summarizing how media literacy affects teaching administrators in colleges and universities, puts forward the connotations of media literacy and presents questionnaires in respect of ability to select medium, to use it, to accept it and develop oneself through it. Through investigating the present situation of teaching administrators' media literacy and their requirement concerning medium, the writer puts forward the methods and strategies for acquiring, deepening and widening teaching administrators' media literacy, trying to make a little contribution to the research of colleges and universities teaching administrators' media literacy, which is still in vacancy.
