The rapid development of the technology of computer, network and communication provide powerful technical support for the online information literacy instruction. Compared with the traditional information literacy instruction, the online information literacy instruction has some benefits, for instance, not regarding of time or space, good teaching interaction, and the attentions paying to students'subjective feelings in their learning process. Just attributed to the above advantages, through building a platform on the basic of Web2.0 to carry out the student information literacy instruction has become the mainstream of the information literacy instruction throughout the whole world at present. Compared with the foreign universities, the domestic universities still have many problems in on-line information literacy instruction, at present. Based on which, this paper construct a platform model of on-line information literacy instruction of University library on the foundation of Web2.0, in order to try to solve the related problems existing in which. This paper conduct the studies from the following aspects:(1)Make analysis of technology feasibility. Introduce the related technology under the Web2.0 environment, and also analyze its prospects if be used in the on-line information literacy instruction of the library in university.(2)Design the university library online information literacy instruction platform. According to the present related problems existing in the domestic on-line information literacy instruction, constructed a platform model of on-line information literacy instruction of University library by the software engineering method on the foundation of Web2.0, in order to try to solve the related problems existing in which, then make further analysis of its feasibility and goals, and point out the structure and related function of the model in detail at last. (3) Propose a concept of subject-oriented joint information service. This paper provided a concept of subject-oriented joint information service in functional localization of the platform and analyzed its necessary of which, also expatiated the process of on-line subject-oriented joint information service simultaneously.(4)Applied research. Made applied research through two cases: the Shanghai University's on-line information literacy instruction platform and the Guangzhou TianHe Nine School Libraries'on-line information literacy instruction Collaboration Net established by nine University including HuanNan University of Science and Technology, verifying the functions and structure of the designed platform, pointing out some necessary improvement of the two above university's on-line information literacy instruction platform.
