Modern industrial production is moving towards information management, intelligence andvisualization. The efficient management of industrial production line is assurance to enhance themarket competitiveness of enterprises. At present, most of the Enterprise management systems areusing barcode technology. Compared to the traditional manual operation, the intelligent has beengreatly improved. However, there is still limited information capacity, unable to update information,easily damaged, read the inconvenience and other shortcomings in the barcode. How to develop amore complete reflection of the production and circulation, provide production line managementinformation systems is an issue which is need to be solved. With the recent rapid rise of radiofrequency identification (RFID) technology, it has higher speed of recognition, larger data capacity,and more security, so became the popular applications of industrial enterprises optimize variousproduction processes management technique.In response to above-mentioned problems, this paper is relies on an actual projects of a tobaccoindustry which I was charged with, combined radio frequency (RF) and computer technology, usingRFID technology into the production line, Describes the design and implementation of this system.First, the background and the application of RFID technology at home and abroad will be explained.Second, it introduces the key technologies of RFID and the theory of the RFID systems. Third, thepaper designed the platform of this system combined with the actual application scenarios. Fourth,it designs the system function modules, communication Interface between reader and industrialpersonal computer (IPC) and gave a description of how to collect the production data and writeinformation into electronic tag. At last, proposed and implemented solutions to the problems of thesystem debugging and gave examples of system implementation verified the feasibility andreliability of this system.
