With the improvement of living standard,people grow demand for a family car.Traditional,single-car coating production line system has been unable to meet the current automotive coating industry manufacturing requirements.In order to adapt to small quantities,multi-species and personalized features in the current automotive industry,the major car manufacturers continue to increase capital and technology investment,improve production technology and improve production efficiency.This paper mainly studies the key technology of how to realize multi-vehicle production with the same platform in the flexible coating production line of passenger car.The key to realize the flexible production of multi-vehicle model is to solve the problem of multi-vehicle body recognition and the disturbance of the conveyor chain caused by the vehicle switching on base of the flexible conveyor equipment design and the automatic spraying of the robot.To this end,the focus of this paper mainly in the following areas:1.From the design of coating conveyor equipment,we went to study the conditions of flexible coating to achieve.We mechanically carry out multi-function design and improvement on the conveyor slide to fix different body through the front and rear fulcrum combination and choose the installation location of carrier to prepare for information storage and transmission of the follow-up body.We electrically study the radio frequency technology,focusing on information storage and delivery,and have software design of models and color recognition.2.In terms of robot spray,we went to study the conditions of flexible coating to achieve.We research the selection of spray robot and paint atomization,analysize the working principle of robot spray system and the code design of color and vehicle,have the overall design of spray software for multi-model,and establish the standardized automatic spraying procedures.3.Aiming at the problem of the conveyor chain disturbance caused by the change of various models,we introduce the fuzzy PID algorithm to study the intelligent control of the automatic speed control system.We choose the control strategy,model construction,and fuzzy controller design of the automatic speed control system.Through the Simulink simulation module of MATLAB,the speed control system is simulated and analyzed from the aspects of system response,rated speed change and load interference,and the advantages and disadvantages of conventional PID control and fuzzy PID control are compared,and we verify the superiority of fuzzy PID control.4.In the aspect of software design,we use AB's RSLogix5000 programming software to design the flexible realization of conveyor chain operation,RFID data transmission and the coding recognition of vehicle and color.We design on-site touch screen and host computer monitoring system by the man-machine interface software of AB's Factory Talk View to prepare for field test verification of automatic speed control system,and summarize the problems encountered in the industrial field test and the debugging process and the processing methods.The results of software simulation and field test show that the flexible coating line can achieve a variety of flexible body coating and the automatic speed control system of flexible coating line can solve the problem of instability of chain speed caused by multi-model switching.The results of this study can promote the production of flexible coating of passenger cars.
