As the frequency of the signal in the high-speed design is becoming higher and therising time is becoming narrower, Signal Integrity problem is becoming more and moreserious and challenging. Solving the Signal Integrity problem, have become a key pointto the success of system design. For designers, understanding more and flexiblyapplying on SI theory to guide SI analyzing and simulation to solve SI problem. It hasimportant value of science and practical application.Impedance is this essay’s foundation, studying high-speed signal in the non-idealcircumstance step by step. Studying content is following as:(1)Based on analyzing SI theory, stressing on studying high-speed signalimpedance discontinuity, expounding and verifying of the strategy of impedance match.and forming the way of guidance for high-speed system engineering.(2)Pointing at inter-high-speed connection’s via-effect, applying onmulti-parameter simulation, fully analyzing on impedance of via, validly reducing theimpedance discontinuity as well, and get the rules of design for reality.(3)Base on the practice of construction, stressing on high-speed design’s specificSI problem. Through investigating problems and assuring the exact cause, could weoffer perfect plan of solutions, and providing substantially strategy of improvement andoptimization.Through this essay’s studying the accordance of design and simulation, givingtechnology support for autonomous design of8layers PCB and8layers package at theangles of simulation of positive and negative sides separately. Applying on systemdesign successfully, and reach due goal and conform to design requirement.
