With the continuous development of technology, in the field of high speed dataacquisition, video image processing, satellite remote sensing, modern communication,the technology has put forward the higher requirements in high speed large capacitydata transmission and storage. Because of high bandwidth and good performance, PCIEbus has become an important technology in high speed storage system design, thereforeit is very meaningful to research the high speed storage system based on PCIE bus.This paper based on Xilinx Virtex6FPGA embedded PCIE core, implement thehigh speed data transmission between PCIE control board through six high speedtransceiver TLK2711. PCIE receive control board use DDR3as a large capacity cache,to upload the data high speed to system memory through DMA write for subsequentprocessing.This paper first introduces the research status, background and significance of thehigh speed storage system. Then according to the functional requiresments of system,give the hardware design and FPGA logic design of high speed storage system based onPCIE. This paper focuses on the design of data synchronization cache module, thedesign of DDR3memory interface and high speed DMA read and write design based onPCIE bus. Finally, this paper detailed the whole system and each part of the test results.Through analysis of the test results, verify the feasibility of the system design.
