Data acquisition technology plays a vital role in the field of modern testing.The data transmission bus is one of the most important factors affecting the speed of data acquisition systems.At present,with the advancement of computer technology and the improvement of various module chip manufacturing processes,the development of data transmission capability is often difficult to keep pace with the development of computer technology,and the data transmission capability is difficult to meet the requirements of users for data acquisition systems.As a new generation of I/O local bus standard,PCI Express bus gradually replaces traditional bus technology and becomes the new local bus industry standard with its advantages of efficient data transmission efficiency and compatibility with traditional PCI devices and low power consumption.PXIe bus technology is an extension of the PCIe technology in the field of instruments.The improvement of data transmission capabilities of the two bus technologies provides technical support for the development of data acquisition systems.Direct Memory Access(DMA)is a widely used data transfer mode for data transfer inside a computer.This data transfer mode allows certain hardware subsystems inside the computer to independently access system memory.During this period,the intervention of the CPU of the central processor is not required,so that the contradiction between efficiency and speed can be greatly solved.The application of DMA technology is developing rapidly.The use of DMA technology to complete the transmission of largecapacity data is the main technical basis of the existing data transmission system.The data acquisition module based on PXIe bus technology designed by this subject has very important practical value in solving data acquisition,transmission and storage.The design uses FPGA to complete the design of PCIe and DMA control modules.The function of PCIe high-speed transmission is realized by calling PCIe IP core inside the FPGA.The data storage function is realized by designing the DDR3 controller.The design of the DMA controller effectively reduces the pressure of the processor and improves the data acquisition system.
