Demand Management On Software Outsourcing Project

Software industry is one of the emerging industries, it already has made certain achievements. With the expansion of the scale of software development, software project management is more and more important. How manage demand effectively in software project, and how prevent and control risks are important problems facing in the software industry.Firstly, this paper introduces the project management, software project management and the basic theory of software outsourcing project requirements management. Then software outsourcing project demand management problem of the three aspects of understanding inconsistent requirements change, demand and demand management method is not consistent. To solve these problems, this paper constructed the demand management model. This model is divided into three layers, quality assurance, process layer and tools layer. To provide our requirements management and quality assurance layer, basic metrics from other personnel required in the project with independent quality assurance personnel in QA. Quality assurance is provided from the organizational level. Process layer provide us demand management methods and processes, to guide us how to better manage the demand. Layer presents two very useful tools:requirements traceability matrix and Doors. It provides us with a useful traceability management tool. Based on three levels to construct the demand management model, hope to be able to work for small and medium-sized software outsourcing company’s demand management, provide a reference for their demand management to improve the quality of the help.Finally, we proved the model is correct according to build a successful example.
