In the21st century, China’s container transport industry has entered a sustainable,comprehensive development. The port control system gradually goes to the direction oflarge-scale, automation and information. In order to improve the efficiency of the portoperating efficiency, so crane monitoring system (CMS) has appeared. In recent years, themobile terminals has been widely used, they are not only enrich people’s lives, due to itsexcellent computing performance, do also enter into the field of industrial applications. Sothe CMS needs to be moved to the Android for further improving operating efficiency,timely accessing to information.Through the analysis of CMS working mechanisms and Android platform, the paperdesigned the overall system architecture. In the design of architecture, the system obtainedmonitoring and database data from the server through wireless LAN, defining thetransmission data format at the same time. After the data parsed, corresponding modulewould use the data to implemented a series of functions including simulating craneoperations, tracking devices working status, operating information stored and inquired. Asfor the high real-time monitoring requirements and communication easy interrupted, thepaper used a number of ways to optimize the system, including the car motioninterpolation,server-side real-time push and reading the database by group. Finally, thesystem succesed,in the actual operation of the process, running smoothly, and having alittle delay, a higher performance and practical value.
