With the rapid development of modernization,the number of large construction project is becoming more and more,like high-speed railway construction, large-scale construction of large power plant. There are so many kinds of cranes playing crucial roles in these large construction projects. However, about different lifting environment and lifting object, there are different lifting operation modes, for example, double crane lifting. What’s more, these lifting operations with several cranes are high risk operation mode, but there are not very good safety monitoring systems about these modes. This paper designed an intelligent safety monitoring system about double crane lifting operation mode, in view of this kind of lifting operation mode, it can effectively prevent the occurrence of safety accidents, and assist operator to complete the task successfully and safely.This paper presented the general situation of lifting with two cranes operation mode, and according to this kind of lifting operation mode designed hardware system and hardware system. Firstly, it analyzed the basic theory, including inertial sensor detection principle, theory of inertial coordinate system, attitude representation and attitude solving method.Afterward, narrated the design of hardware system, used STM32F103C8T6 as the center build the hardware platform, sensor put to use MPU6050 and HMC5883 L, used wireless radio frequency module and Bluetooth module to communicate, used Android intelligent terminal as upper monitor to display the result. In the design of software system, it analyzed the error model of each sensor, and it put that using Kalman filtering to fusion data of sensors to calculate attitude. And completed the preparation of the microprocessor program and the implementation of Android applications.Lastly, test system and test equipment was set up in the laboratory, static test and dynamic test were carried out in the test system under laboratory conditions. The system also carried out the test at the construction site of the crane. Results show that crane driver and crane operator can adjust the position of the crane more precisely by the system. By using the system,enterprise achieve the fine selection of cranes and save cost. And the system make lifting process effectively avoiding the inclination of the hook rope and greatly improve the safety of the lifting process.
