With the arrival of the period of national industrialization development, the demand of large hoisting machinery is exuberant because of the sharply increased investment of national energy construction, the rapid speed and the increasing capacity of construction. The market of hoisting industry which includes large and extra large hoisting construction based on crawler crane and small and medium hoisting construction based on auto crane arises. Therefore, the research on the simulation system combined hoisting working process with virtual reality technology the research is significant.Firstly, the object-oriented programming technology is studied to develop system. By means of the analysis and study the software Inventor, the3D parameterized model of crane is established by the powerful3D modeling function of Inventor with the structure and principle of crane.Secondly, the program design method is realized to select the type of crane with the analysis of actual conditions in the work of selecting a crane. This method includes the detailed research about the factor of lifting weight, work rate, lifting height, arm wearing, spacing between the pensile object and ground pressure in the process of selection.Finally, the aforementioned research content is used in3-D simulation of hoisting system to achieve the purpose of assisting the persons who formulate the scheme to simulate the hoisting process. Through simulation, the working process can be demonstrated by use of a realistic models video to eliminate the infeasible scheme in advance. After the simulation, the corresponding result should be output so as to compare the conditions and to seek the optimum scheme for persons who formulate the scheme. In short, the efficiency and the reliability of the scheme are highly improved.
