With the rapid development of wireless sensor network technology, radio frequencyidentification technology and database technology, remote monitoring technology has beenimproved rapidly. In view of the current situation of the investment scale is continuallyexpanding, and structure is increasingly complex, and distribution is gradually spreading inuniversity, the remote monitoring system is moving towards networked, distributed andautomated direction. In order to centralize management and implement monitoring of theremote laboratory equipment, this paper constructs a laboratory equipment remote controlsystem based on RFID and ZigBee.According to the specific requirements of the subject, the system uses popular RFIDtechnology and ZigBee technology, and proposed hierarchically the specific design. Field dataacquisition layer is a radio control unit based on ZigBee terminal node, and uses the sensortechnology and RFID Technology, implementing the information acquisition of switchmachine and user identity. The transport layer covers the ZigBee wireless sensor network andGPRS/Internet network. The former constructs a platform of information transmissionwireless network, and the latter complete the protocol conversion between different networksby the digital gateway based on MSP430, and finally communicate with the remote databaseby socket. Remote monitoring platform is developed under the environment of C#Web server,which Real-time displays field data and feedbacks the corresponding action instructions bystoring, accessing and processing database information. This paper focus on the hardwarelayer of data acquisition and transmission, and a detailed account of the application of radiofrequency identification technology and wireless sensor network technology in the laboratoryequipment is proposed from the theoretical level to the application level.The system solved the problem of wireless transmission between equipment and Internet,and implemented decentralized, digital, intelligent management. The test results show thatsystem is stable and reliable, achieving the research goal of the subject.
