In recent years, China’s express industry has sprung up, convenient express to make our life convenience. But then the problem is obvious, due to the large volume of goods in the warehouse, the situation of cargo retention occurs frequently. Some food, medicine, tobacco and other perishable items have specific requirements for the storage environment. But so far most of the sensor of storage environment detection system, data servers, monitoring devices are used in the cable layout. This approach is not only wiring complexity and high cost, but also the equipment not easy to maintain. The location of monitor is fixed and other shortcomings. In order to solve these problems, in this paper, a new storage environment detection system based on ZigBee and GPRS wireless sensor network is constructed. ZigBee wireless sensor network in system is mainly used for data collection, on the one hand GPRS network upload the data to the cloud platform, on the other hand, the data of each location node can be real-time query via SMS.Firstly, this paper studies the ZigBee protocol and its protocol stack, and on this basis, we use the CC2530 chip of TI as the controller of the node to desingn the node module of ZigBee wireless sensor network. Using the GPRS communication module to achieved the data of ZigBee network through the GPRS network to upload to the cloud platform.Secondly, based on the designed hardware, the driver of each sensor, GPRS data upload program, SMS program have been written and interface of cloud platform have been designed. Part of the program design of storage environment detection system based on ZigBee and GPRS is completed.Lastly, debugging the whole system, including ZigBee networking, data packet loss rate in different distances, data accuracy and other indicators of evaluation. The storage environment monitoring system designed in this paper is low cost and easy to assemble. The innovation is used advantage of GPRS coverage widely to uploaded data that ZigBee wireless sensor network to collect to the Internet of things cloud platform. Users just need a computer or mobile phone that can be connected networked to viewed storage environment at any time and without any geographic restriction. This system has a certain universality, it can provide a feasible solution for other environmental monitoring system.
