More and more cities began to pay attention to the night of the landscape lightingapplications and development With domestic urban development scale unceasinglyexpands, it reflects the city’s prosperity in a certain extent, and also improved the city’simage. But in the urban landscape lighting of the development process of initial due toexcessive pursuit of the shining light night, light color with the gorgeous, even in someplaces has occurred in the competition with each other psychological, so it caused apower and light pollution waste, then energy conservation and environmentalprotection gradually to seriously rise. Along with the development of technologyconstantly ZigBee, the combined with GPRS technologies for the landscape lightingmonitoring system can provide a energy saving reliable solutions.This system mainly make up by the landscape lamp monitoring terminal,communication network, the son monitoring stood and monitoring center etc.Monitoring terminal mainly responsible for landscape lamp to all kinds of data,theparameters of the acquisition. Communication network adopt two-stagecommunication mechanism, between in the landscape lamp monitoring terminal andthe son monitoring stood can use ZigBee technology, it itself has low powerconsumption and time delay short, low cost, network capacity and othercharacteristics,especially suitable for the short distance,low power consumption;electrical equipment data transfer. Between in the monitoring center and the sonmonitoring stood used the GPRS network realization communication. The monitoringcenter is the man-machine combine part,it can remote monitoring each terminal of thestate,send commands and deal with possible fault alarm etc.This paper first introduces this topic research significance, the domestic andforeign development situation, the landscape lighting remote monitoring system of thedevelopment direction, and compared centralized monitoring way and the traditionalway of monitoring way after ZigBee technology, and analysis of the advantages anddisadvantages of both. Next research GPRS technologies and ZigBee agreement, andto design the whole system overall, including the choice of ZigBee topology structure,the whole structure framework design, network scheme, the improvement of therouting algorithm, and communication network protocol. Then the key research this system two aspects of hardware and software, mainly including monitor terminal andmonitor the son of station design, and finally to the article summarized and discussed.
