Water are turning into a kind of Scarce resources in the 21st century.problems of water are not only the problem of source, but also the Important strategic issue related to national relationship ,sustainable development of society and stability. China is a country of serious shortage of water resources. Recently north and southwest of china suffered a drought that decades in. The national sedimentation area reaches millions of hectares. This knocked on a warning of water saving. Efficient automation control irrigation technology are needed. This can not only relieves water pressure effectively but also develops fine agriculture and modern agriculture.With the development of wireless communication technology, ZigBee are growing mature. ZigBee's Excellent performance provides low cost, low power consumption, high reliability solutions for close wireless communication.GPRS are Gradually perfect.. The coverage area is also increasing. Almost can be distributed into any place humans live.Its maintenance costs is low. The installation is convenient.It is Easy to realize remote data acquisition and equipment control.This paper use wireless sensor network Consists of ZigBee and Wireless communication technology of GPRS to constitute the remote data acquisition system. This System can realize remote automatic monitoring and intelligent irrigation for drought of Orchard soil. It can also realize automatic monitoring and intelligent irrigation for Orchard soil moisture content.This paper mainly study the content as follows:firstly, we put forward the design of the whole system solutions With China's national conditions. Secondly, We do a detailed design of ZigBee wireless network sub-domain node; Thirdly,completed protocol analytical of GPRS data and construction of SQL database; Fourth, developed Web network service program based on asp.net 2.0, and we realized the client and server data friendly interaction; Finally,we finished the installation and debugging of system in experimental base of National fruit trees center in feicheng city . After nearly one year's test the results showed that Remote irrigation system based on ZigBee and GPRS is fit for orchard's irrigation intelligent monitoring and control.
