Design And Implementation Of Shipbuilding Project Planning Management System Based On CCPM

With the development of the shipbuilding industry, the application of projectmanagement techniques in the shipbuilding area has gained a great improvement whichhas contributed a lot to level up the management and production efficiency. Therefore,it’s the key point to make a scientific and rational shipbuilding project plan forincreasing production capacity and improving management level in a shipbuildingenterprise.For the shipbuilding enterprise, the best way to adopt the advance managementmethod is to develop a project planning management software system. So, thisdissertation is looking forward to develop a project planning management softwarebased on CCPM (Critical Chain Project Management) to schedule and control theproduction processes in shipbuilding enterprise. It will help the shipbuilding enterpriseincrease the production capacity to face the fierce market completion. This dissertationis mainly going to perform something from the following aspects:Firstly, this dissertation studies the project planning management situation ofZHONGFUXIGANG which is a shipbuilding corporation at WEIHAI to discover theproblems in its production. According that, this dissertation is going to expose therequirement in its project planning management of the corporation.Secondly, study the application of CCPM in the area of project management forthe purpose of finding out how to use CCPM to schedule the production process inshipbuilding enterprise.Thirdly, propose a framework of production scheduling based on CCPM toimprove the situation of planning and schedule control in project management inZHONGFUXIGANG. Design a shipbuilding project plan management system based onCCPM combining the requirement of ZHONGFUXIGANG and the framework thisdissertation proposed. This system is designed from the aspects of processing procedure,function modules, database and interface.Fourthly, implement the system previous designed by take proper developmenttechnology, then, set up a test environment and design test cases to test the system on itsfunctionality and performance. Verify the effect of the system which it is supposed toprovide.
