Design And Implementation Of Multidimensional WBS System For Shipbuilding Enterprises

With the development of the times, great changes have taken place in modernshipbuilding industry, because of the regional construction, intermediate product, hull-outfitting-painting integration shipbuilding technology, traditional work breakdownstructure has been unable to meet the needs of modern shipbuilding.The multidimensional WBS method is proposed by analyzing the traditional WBSand the demand of modern shipbuilding, and a multidimensional WBS system prototypefor the shipbuilding enterprise is developed according to Zhongfu Xigang’s owncharacteristics. The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:Firstly, it analyzes the current domestic and international project management inthe shipbuilding process of shipbuilding enterprises, and the production processproblems in shipbuilding enterprises. Sum up the problems of traditional WBS applyingin modern shipbuilding project through the analysis of current situation, further explainsthe necessity of using multidimensional WBS to solve problem.Secondly, it deeply analyzes ZhongFu XiGang’s current status by having actualresearch to the enterprise. It makes a detailed analysis of ZhongFu Xigang’s externalbusiness and internal business process according to the actual business of the enterprise.It put forward the multidimensional WBS method according to the traditional WBS’sinadaptability and the actual needs of the shipbuilding enterprise.Thirdly, the information system is divided into different function modulesaccording to the research document and the principle of multidimensional WBS. Itdesigns the system in the order of from the top to the bottom, and it mainly includesthree parts, as follows: the top view of the system, function module, the function menuview. It design quality of ships, ship construction schedule, shipping cost interfaceaccording to the multidimensional WBS thought, and the system interface is the portalof internal subsystem and external subsystem to exchange information.Fourthly, it realizes the system functions according to the system design. At first itdisplays the directory of the system showing a full view of the system, then it describesthe main class in the system in detail, followed describes the basic content of thedatabase tables and the relationship between themselves, at last it analyzes the coreprocess of realizing the multidimensional WBS thought in the system in detail.Finally, it tests the system and analyzes the application of the system, the testprocess is showed by a set of test cases, and states the prospect of the system.
