Research On Information Service Based On Subject Librarian System In University Library

Under the situation of changes on information environment and user information demand,How to break the traditional "literature-centered" service mode and transformed it into the"reader-centered" service mode in order to meet the personalized requirements, specialized,in-depth information need, has become the urgent problem need to be solved for the library. Bythe introduction of subject librarian system in Tsinghua university library, subject librarianservice has become an inevitable trend in the development of university library informationservice. Subject librarian service can meet the personalized requirements, in-depth subjectinformation need, and launch subject service deeply in departments, working for the teachingand scientific research provides strong information protection. And also has importantsignificance for the construction of subject resources and implementation of the innovativeservice.In this paper, the current situation of implementing subject librarian system both at homeand abroad were summarized, and expounds the connotation of subject librarian system and thenecessity of carrying out subject information service in university library, analyzes the presentsituation and the existing problems of university library subject information services in China,put forward the idea of subject librarian in the library service. Finally, introduces the new modelof practicing subject-oriented information service under the IC2service innovation platform inShanghai Jiao Tong University. These new measures enrich and develop the content of thesubject librarian service, and have a guiding significance for the subjects information servicework in other university libraries.
