One of the new trends of the animal husbandry production is developing towards the direction of specialization and socialization,which is companied by the increasing scale farms and the development of science and technology.The production performance and efficiency of chickens in sheds is severely restricted by the domestic manual and semi-mechanized production at present.Therefore to improve the chickens’ growing level of automation and to ensure the healthy growth of chickens and the production efficiency has great practical significance for the development of large-scale industrialization of China’s aquaculture industry.Based on the research which analyses the chickens’ growth characteristics and the variation of climate in Ningxia, the remote monitoring system of chickens in sheds is designed by the integrated application of sensor technology, field bus technology,PLC control technology and configuration monitoring technology.the system not only can collect but also monitor the real-time data such as temperature, humidity, care intensity in sheds.And then the design method of environment parameter monitoring system applying to northwest sheds is proposed, provided technical support under optimal conditions for the chickens in high-quality growth.First of all, according to the actual production status of the Hengtai Breeder Limited Liability Company of Ningxia,the paper designs the control system of the equipment in the sheds in the overall and proposed a scheme of the new shed’s control system.The PC monitoring system consists of PC and configuration software King View. While the lower machine control system consists of PLC and relevant electrical components.Then this paper introduces the function of whole control system.Secondly, based on the research of PID control for the temperature parameter coordinated control,this review analyses the classic PID control algorithm and the software MATLAB of simulation.At last,according to the new scheme and requirements of field devices,the lower machine control system is improved by hardware configuration and software designing.The monitoring system based on KingVIEW controls various environmental factors in the chickens’ shed and establish a monitoring interface of configuration software KingVIEW.In conclusion, combined with the company’s actual needs,this review designs a set of regional application real-time monitoring system for the chickens’ sheds with various environmental factors. According to the field bus, PLC and configuration techniques,a remote monitoring model supports a new control method and technique for developing the poultry industry in the northwest.
