Nowadays, remote monitoring and managing embedded devices through the Internet as an embedded device networking technology have been used significantly. People hope embedded system could connect with Internet so that it has web sever function, that using browser view the embedded systems real-time status at any places, and do operation such as remote monitoring,diagnostics,configuration diagnostics and control for embedded system.On the base of researching domestic and foreign embedded system remote monitoring technology, this paper propose a design program for remote monitoring system based on embedded microprocessors and Linux operating system of remote monitoring, and be used to monitor the temperature and humidity of the henhouse, which is a precondition for set up platform that brings network and information of digital Chicken together.This paper discusses the features and applications of embedded system firstly, propose total design program of the system after researching the influence of henhouse environmental for the growth of chicken. Using ARM+Linux technology reduces, configures U-BOOT and Linux operation system, and transplants to S3C2410 target board on which structures yaffs file system and write driver program for hardware devices. Then the boa Web server is constructed on S3C2410+Linux development platform on which remote monitor system is designed. Through writing CGI code, web pages interactive controlling for remote embedded system devices will be implemented. This paper considers at a greater extent on stability,real-time and security of system when designing the program of CGI dynamical web pages, and system provides a friendly operation interface focus on the operation of client request. After design, clients can monitor and control remote devices on terminal browser in order to implement remote monitoring function.
