This thesis is an applied research funded by the"All-weather water condition remote measuring system for Shanxi Province drainage area river (Item Number: 2007-2)"project that is supported mainly by Scientific Research-funded of returned overseas students in the Shanxi Province.This paper has designed a ice&water situation wireless network remote monitoring and management system within wide large region based on the research harvests that Institute of Measuring&Controlling, TaiYuan University of technology has acquired in ice freezing&melting and their automatic monitoring for several years, taked hydrology monitoring stations of Key national hydrological stations Telemetry—Xinzhou Nanchuang Hutuohe hydrological station,key hydrological station in Shanxi Province Flood Forecast as applied background, referred to present main technologies about monitoring ice information, adopted configuration software as a development platform, mobile communicating technology, image information processing technology and so on. In the system, Software platform uses domestic configuration software"kingview 6.53". System utilizes GSM MODEM and network video camera to realize wireless remote communication of sample data by GSM/GPRS network in mobile communication. The received data information is saved in database of monitoring management PC. Using the Microsoft Access that can store and query datum and"kingview"that analyze and process data realize network remote automatic monitoring management for ice conditions and image information.Ice conditions remote monitoring management system mainly consists of two parts: ice conditions on-site data acquisition terminal system and information monitoring management system in data acquisition management center. This thesis focused on the research of design of information monitoring management system in data acquisition management center and secondary development process of"kingview 6.53". This paper includes the following sections:1) This paper describes the research background and situation of the subject, and then introduces the overall design and work principle of ice&water situation wireless network remote monitoring and management system.2) Briefly introduces the information monitoring management system and the main related technologies in data acquisition management center, and discuss and analyze GSM communication module, wireless video capture module, functional modules of software development based on the "Kingview", back-office database and so on, which compose the information monitoring and management System in center of data acquisition and management .3) Emphasizely introduces writing process of information monitoring management software in data acquisition management center in three aspects of data collection&treatment, video capture and Web release of picture&data.4) Introduces application of the system in real projects and analyses &summarizes the whole system.As one application achievement of the scientific research project"Applied technology research of River ice conditions automatic measuring and forecasting based on the physical properties of air, ice and water", the system has been applied in the"All-weather water information remote detecting system for Shanxi Province"project and"All-weather water information remote detecting system for Fen River in Taiyuan"project , The project has passed the experts'appraisal of Shanxi province Science and Technology Department in May 2009 and achieved good economic and social benefits. Combined with the research and design of this project, author of this paper and other students of project team completed"ice conditions continual automatic monitoring system based on physical properties of air, ice and water"that received first prize of the Expo special competition in participated in the eleventh"Challenge Cup"National University extracurricular academic and scientific works competition.
