With the development of science and technology of the progressive era, theappearance of many new technologies: wireless sensor network technology. Thistechnology contains a lot of small aspects such as zigbee technology, wifi and bluetoothtechnology, etc. This system is to choose the zigbee technology as the support of wirelesscommunication in this paper. It is a kind of can in the short information of wireless datatransmission technology, low energy consumption, buy advantages of low cost and highspeed now social intelligence, modernization and automation level is higher and higher,wireless data transmission proportion bigger and bigger, so the zigbee technology and isnow the researchers of preferred wireless communication technologies.Within the modern development of chicken industry scale, henhouse environmentcontrol has been laying hens farmers issues of concern. In laying hens egg production isnot high factor is the original didn’t mention the environmental factors: temperature andhumidity, feel the light, wind speed and harmful gas, etc. Just like human chickens couldnot survive without illumination, light is one of necessary environment of laying hens.The strength of the light affects the metabolism of laying hens of speed, growth cycle andegg production cycle time. Is a henhouse light intensity for monitoring factors, this paperusing AVR microcontroller, which is the core of the system components, through thesignal transmission of wireless sensor will get to the core of single chip microcomputer,the microcontroller to monitor light after processing data. Which is used in the wirelesssensor network (zigbee technology as the main points, plus CC2420module, relaymodule and other modules, the system can run normally. System chosen is lh-zd series ofilluminance sensor, it through the induction in the henhouse light intensity, thetransmission of light intensity to the system, A/D level signal, again by the radiofrequency transceiver module CC2420, etc to transfer data through the zigbee wirelesscommunication protocol to the coordinator node. In the sensor installed in the hen houseequipment, and through the henhouse and leds light sensors in putting the stationing, invarious stages show different illumination value, according to the different light intensity,will adjust through control relay corresponding LED light switch, thus guarantee toachieve the most suitable light intensity in the henhouse. Light intensity is closely relatedto the metabolism of laying hens. Thus laying hens producers create the ideal breedingenvironment, coupled with scientific management, to obtain more economic benefits.
