Enterprise Human Resource Management System is an indispensable part of abusiness unit and its content is critical for the corporate decision-makers andmanagers.So the human resource management system should be able to provide userswith sufficient information and efficient query means. But it has been using thetraditional artificial way to manage file archives. This management approach has manyshortcomings, such as low efficiency and poor security. In addition, there will be a largenumber of files and data after a long time. These will brought a lot of difficulties tosearch, update and maintenance.As one part of computer applications, the use of computers for human resourcesinformation management has unmatched advantages compared with the manualmanagement, e.g., rapid search, high reliability, large memory capacity, good security,long life and low cost. These advantages can greatly improve the efficiency of humanresource management.This system is an integrated human resource management system developed for amiddle-size state-owned enterprise in Chengdu Co., Ltd. Enterprise Human ResourceManagement System is a typical management information system, whose developmentmainly includes two aspects: establishment and maintenance of the database andfront-end application development. The system contains the main functions for query,modify, delete, and add. It can manage the employees’ files, wages, training, jobtransfers and awards and punishments, etc. This system is mainly based on thecombined structure of the C/S mode and B/S mode. The front desk systems aredeveloped using Visual Studio2008as a development tool and the background usingSQL Server2005as the database management system. The contents of this thesis isprepared in accordance with the actual development process. It introduces the details ofwhole process of development of human resource management information systems andsoftware engineering design, including problem definition, feasibility studies,requirements analysis, system design and its details.
