Higher vocational computer JAVA course is a professional course of computerprofessional, current, computer networks are widely applied in various fields, But in thecourse of JAVA many vocational colleges are still using the traditional lecture-style teachingmode to complete the theoretical part of the study, combined with the practice, students learnto "accept". This mode of the students lack innovative ability and self learning ability,thinking is not conducive to the teaching content. WebQuest is a network of research-basedlearning mode, this mode of learning activities, students become the main body, theirenthusiasm and initiative will be improved.Based on the related theory of WebQuest teaching mode, according to the specificimplementation of Higher Vocational College Computer JAVA courses and JAVA courses inHigher Vocational College planning, Analysis of the characteristics of the traditional teachingmode, analysis of JAVA curriculum features, the second grade students of higher vocationalcomputer teaching characteristics, environmental characteristics that factors such as. Withadvanced teaching theory as the foundation, from the point of view of the specific situation,design of higher vocational computer JAVA course teaching mode based on WebQuest. ToWebQuest the network inquiry teaching mode as the angle of view, through the actionresearch method, literature research, tries hard for the effective application of WebQuestmode in JAVA course of higher occupation colleges, improving the teaching environment ofJAVA course, change the JAVA curriculum teaching present situation, guide the students tolearn actively, improve students’ interest in learning, to mobilize students learning enthusiasmto improve the teaching effect, provide a reference.I think WebQuest is a kind of inquiryteaching mode based on network, which is based on the constructivism theory, the main bodyof students as the teaching activities, make full use of rich resources of the network, under theguidance of teachers, students’ active exploration and learning the content of the webpagewebsite, information collection, collation, eventually completed the teacher assigned teachingtask, this kind of learning method can improve students’ learning ability, thinking ability andpractical ability to solve problems, to meet the higher vocational colleges students trainingobjectives.Finally, this article in the fifth chapter, the design of "the game interface design of layoutelements--" as the main content of the WebQuest case, in support of school leaders in2011computer professional JAVA program to carry out, from the analysis that:(1) the studentsinterested in this kind of mode.(2) the right to guide students to use the network to learn.(3)WebQuest webpage design should not only can fully reflect the teaching knowledge, but alsoto meet the students’ psychological.
