Research On The Teaching Mode Of Webquest-based Of Basic Courses In Computer In Higher Vocational Colleges

Basic courses in computer of higher vocational colleges is an obligatory courses of non-computer majors, however its current teaching mode still based on the traditional teacher-imparting method with the support of students' practice on computer, students prefers such a learning-acceptive, so that students we have educated do lack the ablilities of innovation and immediate feedback. WebQuest is a kind of web-based teaching mode which takes the Constructivism Theory as the foundation, regards students as the center and accepts teachers as the guiding part. It can make good use of network resources and help students complete the particular study mission, thus reach the aim of improving students' cognitive and problem-solving abilities which rightly corresponds with the educational expectation of higher vocational colleges. The purpose of this research is to try to use WebQuest mode to change the basic courses in computer of higher vocational colleges and nurture eligible practical talents of creative spirits.The author through literature reviews introduce the concept, classification, structure, features of the WebQuest mode and contrast the mode of webquest to the tradition. On base of that, this paper based on the integrate information technology and curriculum theory, constructivism learning theory, cooperative learning theory, with the purpose of improving the teaching environment in the basic courses in computer of higher vocational colleges, designed the teaching mode of webquest-based of basic courses in computer in higher vocational, to change the teaching status, to nature the students interests, to improve the quality of the basic courses in computer. In this thesis, I put forward a set of WebQuest instructional design methods, then, I designed a webquest"word bulletin".
